San Francisco AIDS Foundation
This was an inspiring evening at San Francisco City Hall, marking 35 years of San Francisco AIDS Foundation as we honored leaders in the response to HIV and unite to face the challenges ahead.
During the discovery phase, I learned emerald is synonymous with 35th anniversaries and I pulled this into the design along with elements from the venue such as marble and copper filigrees.
A central aspect of my role was developing the event logo, which required multiple rounds of revisions and close collaboration with both internal stakeholders and the foundations board members. This project was particularly challenging because I was asked to redesign the logo over the weekend after refining a previous iteration for two weeks.
Beyond the logo, I designed a comprehensive suite of event collateral including banners, directional signage, menu and bar displays, name tags, table numbers, and auction materials, maintaining a cohesive visual identity throughout. I also managed the coordination with third-party vendors to produce custom crystal awards, overseeing every detail to ensure they met our high standards and aligned with the event’s overall aesthetic.
The MarCom team and I were instrumental to the event's success, directly contributing to a record-breaking $500,000+ in donations which set a new benchmark for the foundation.
